Bowen Therapy

Canine and Equine Bowen Techniques are based on the principles of the Bowen Technique.  A technique where the practitioner uses his fingers and thumbs on precise points on the animal’s body and applies gentle rolling movements over the soft tissues.  A session can last for an hour, with the hands on session running for about 20 minutes.  The animal will continue to assimilate the effects of the treatment for the next 3-4 days and the healing continues for another 7 days.

The technique is beneficial for animals suffering from acute injuries, chronic conditions and degenerative diseases.  Bowen therapy can assist in the recovery after surgery and helps calm animals prone to anxiety and noise phobias.
